Candy Dish on a Pedestal - Hand Turned in Minnesota from Maple | Wood Candy Bowl

A candy dish on a pedestal with a turned base, finished with a high gloss clear epoxy resin. Lathe-turned with spalted maple for the dish, ash for the pedestal and base. Candy dish is 7 inches tall overall, the pedestal is 4 inches and dish is 6+ inches in diameter. Could also be used for jewelry or keys or a holder for anything small. Handmade with care in my northern Minnesota woodturning shop. Turning wood is one of my passions. Ideal for serving "Hershey's Kisses!", lemon drops, butter mints, M&Ms, or any favorite candies and nuts. Finished with a high-gloss, non-toxic, food-safe resin for lasting shine and protection. Hand wash only—dishwasher and microwave are not recommended. Temperatures over 130 degrees may mar the finish and the resin.
